Our team collectively specialise in Triathlon, Multisport, Road and Mountain Biking, Running, swimming and strength training for Endurance Sports and Post Rehab “Return to Sport”.  Val Burke  (MPhed in Exercise Physiology) is the Founder & Owner and believes her coaching team has the ultimate combination of academic, sporting and leadership experience.

Reach Your Peak

Reach Your Peak is the Prehab and Post Rehab Strength branch of our business.   We work with Endurance athletes, all codes of multidirectional athletes, skiers and weekend warriors wanting to stay fit and active for life.  We started in Whistler Canada in 2002 and moved to Wanaka New Zealand in 2007.  Val Burke is the Founder & Owner of Reach Your Peak – Val Burke & Co.

Peak Endurance Wanaka

Peak Endurance Wanaka is the Endurance Coaching, Swim and Run Squad arm of our business. Our team collectively specialise inTriathlon, Multisport, Road Cycling and Mountain Biking, Running, Swimming and Strength Training for Endurance Athletes. All our team either are, or have been high level athletes; have post secondary education; and are extremely passionate about helping people.

Val Burke Coaching & Physiological Testing

Val has a Masters Degree in Exercise Physiology at the University of Otago at which time she worked as a Sport Scientist with many NZ Carded athletes/squads.  She has stayed working with athletes at the coal face by founding Reach Your Peak, and later Peak Endurance Wanaka where she extended her business to include the amazing coaches with whom she now works alongside.  The business was founded through the passion for coaching, bringing people together & empowering them to “Be Great”.

To help you reach your potential as an endurance athlete and assist active people to stay fit, strong and healthy. To train, educate, empower and foster community spirit through training groups and personal coaching.

Age Groupers & Weekend Warriors

We enjoy working with the vast array of people we help prepare for events, and offer personal coaching, individual consulting, and numerous training groups to endurance athletes of all ages and abilities. We guide our athletes over the finish line of Challenge & Ironman races; Xterra; Multisport (Coast to Coast and Godzone); Half, Full Marathons and Ultramarathons; and Cycling Events & Racing.  Whether you are “training to complete” or “training to race” our mission is to help you achieve your goals and reach your potential.

Return to Sport Strength
