We’ve put this in place to help streamline our class registration, gather information paperless, and cut down on emails and missed emails each term.

Running Tips & Words of Wisdom; Warm up with Run Technique & Mobility drills; Main Set with Intervals periodised to the NZ running season; Post training Run-specific Core & Mobility.
This group gives what you need to be a better, more efficient & healthier runner. All level of runners welcome as we split into two training groups with 3 coaches to guide you. We generally run 7 – 12 kms in a session.

This clinic gives you all you need to know to get started as a runner, and is for people who have a walking base, and would like to build up to running 5-10km. It is also excellent for those who have tried unsuccessfully to be “runners”, and need some guidance and motivation. It includes a 10 Week training program with an experienced run coach; Information on run-specific topics; and a supportive group of people to train with.

PAR-Q and medical history

For most people physical activity should not pose any problem or hazard. The Physical Assessment Risk Questionnaire (PAR-Q) has been designed to identify the small number of adults who should have medical advice before embarking on an exercise program.

Please read carefully and indicate yes or no to the following questions.

Do you often feel faint or have spells of severe dizziness?*

Has a doctor ever said your blood pressure was too high?*

Has your doctor ever told you that you have a bone or joint problem such as arthritis that has been aggravated by exercise, or might be made worse with exercise?*

Are you over age 65 and not accustomed to vigorous exercise?*

Is there a good physical reason not mentioned here why you should not follow an activity program even if you wanted to?*

If you answered YES to one or more questions you will need to consult with your GP before starting the exercise programme administered by Reach Your Peak or Peak Endurance. If you answered NO to all questions and answered PAR-Q accurately, you have reasonable assurance of your present suitability for run group.
